Yesterday former First Minister Alex Salmond passed away. I'm not going to get into politics here on this post but it did get me thinking about a great many things. The end will come to us all, like the cheque in a restaurant. Life is a meal and we all leave the table eventually to go to who know's where.

But what do we leave behind?

In the restaurant we sometimes(?) leave a tip, if not we at least pay the bill before we evaporate into the night. So this got me thinking, when we leave this life what do we leave behind? What tip dowe leave for those that some after us? Not just for our children, or at least for those that have them, but for our loved ones, family & friends. What do we leave them?

Peace? Money & materialistic goods? Or perhaps something more spiritual?

Only we get to decide this. We don't need to take out and advert in the paper, we don't need to click subscribe or to even be judged. We just need to stop, think and do the decent thing.
